On an elegant, tree-lined avenue, this bed and breakfast hotel is close to Hyde Park, the West End and Oxford Street. London Paddington Station is less than 350 metres away.
All of the tastefully decorated rooms have satellite flat screen TV, a telephone and tea/coffee facilities. Every room has a desk, and the beds have high quality orthopaedic mattresses.
A Free Continental breakfast is available each morning at Hotel Columbus, served in the wooden-floored eating area.
The hotel is on the south side of Sussex Gardens and has been tastefully converted. Nearby London Paddington Station offers the Heathrow Express train service.
Wi-Fi and some limited on-site parking are available for an additional cost. Parking is subject to availability, cannot be reserved and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Terms & Conditions
With the exception of our Advance Purchase rates, we do not make a charge to your credit card. However due to security reasons and in line with our cancellation policy we do pre-authorise your card at the time of booking.
For our Advance Purchase rate we make the full pre-pay prior to arrival.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION
We do not charge your card. To validate your reservation we do a pre-authorization for £1.00 to verify if the credit card is valid. and due to our cancellation/no-show policy, 5 days before your arrival we do another pre-authorization for the first night amount to secure the room in case of no-show.
Please note this is not a sale, as the amount is blocked in your account.
You will pay the full amount upon your arrival. If you use a different card or cash to pay for your stay, that amount will be again automatically in your account in 7 working days.
Please note, we are proving this information to customers so that the booking experience with Hotel Columbus is understood. We also want you to know that your credit card details are safe and cannot be taken from our website.
When you book accommodation online with us, you will receive a confirmation email and a unique booking reference number.
After you receive our confirmation, your booking details and credit card information are sent to another system to check that you're billing information and security code matches the information your bank holds.
This process does not take place on the Hotel Columbus website which is why we do not ask for any additional credit card information.
Some on-line booking systems use their website database to check everything and authorise payments immediately, we have a system that is not online and thus cannot be accessed by anyone or any computer system trying to locate customer data for fraud usage.
Your credit card number and corresponding authorisation information are in separate locations for security purposes.
If we have any problems with the credit card or information you have supplied, we will get in touch via email or telephone to resolve the issue prior to your arrival.
If we feel the booking is fraudulent then we reserve the right to cancel the booking and will notify you in writing before doing so.
You will be required to present the same credit card upon check-in.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 10 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.
Prepayment: No deposit will be charged.
