Golf Courses : Welcome to Baywood, nestled in the heart of the California redwoods where the forest meets the sea. As the premier private club in Humboldt County, Baywood offers a challenging 18-hole golf course, first-class member dining, banquet and private conference facilities, full-service golf shop, heated swimming pool (summertime), and unprecedented views of nature's wonders.Often described as the North Coast's hidden treasure, Baywood has much to offer the golfer and non-golfer alike. Please browse our web site by using the guest entrance, or log on as a registered Club member by using the member link.

Dining : The Lost Coast Brewery and Café began with a common dream. In 1986 Barbara Groom, a pharmacist, and Wendy Pound, a family counselor, wondered what it would require to start their own brewpub. After years of experimental home brewing, planning and studying, which included visiting scores of pubs in England & Wales, Barbara and Wendy were ready to transform their dream into a reality.

Attractions : Visit the Museum! The Ferndale Museum is a Victorian museum which features historical displays arranged in room venues. Walking through the museum is like walking down a Ferndale street in the late 1800s and peeking through windows into the past. A blacksmith shop, belt driven machinery, farming, and logging equipment complete your look into yesteryear. The Museum is open:Eureka is by the Redwwods national Forrest and the Avenue of the Giants. Eureka is the city to see the Redwoods, Old Town, Murals, Bird Watching, Seafood, Local Beer, Jazz Festival, Blues By The Bay.

Activities : The word Eureka means “I have found it”. When you arrive in Eureka California you will understand why this is the appropriate name for this California North Coast town. Walk through the old seaport town for a glimpse of history, or kayak down one of California's rivers. You are in redwood country here so take a drive and explore northern California's great Redwoods.
